Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman who is a businesswoman. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss born in California was raised with an affluent background. The father of her Jerry Buss was a real-estate businessman who became owner of the Lakers and other businesses related to sports. Her parents divorced in 1972. broke up together and she felt left out. She joined the family business at the age of 19 and became the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. Later, she founded in the Los Angeles Blades, a professional, roller-hockey club. She served as the president of the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice president of the Lakers. Buss, her five sisters and brothers, as well as their father, who owned the Lakers and was their controlling shareholder until the time of his death in 2013, took over this ownership through an estate. Each of them had the same vote rights. She assumed her duties as the president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also co-owns Women of Wrestling, a professional promotion of wrestling with its headquarters in Los Angeles.
