Suzanne Pleshette was an American actor and voice-over artist. Over the course of her career that lasted for nearly five decades she had amassed over a hundred credits on her record. An emigrant from New York, Pleshette began her stage career before making an gradual shift to the screen. Some of her most prominent movies include 'Rome Adventure', 'The Birds', "Fate is the Hunter', If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium and "Support Your Local Firefighter'. The actress has also been featured in a number of films and TV shows. She was nominated 4 occasions to win Emmy Awards and twice for Golden Globe Awards. Pleshette was nominated for the Laurel Award twice and won it in 1963, when she appeared in the film 'The Birds. Her death in 2008 resulted in the posthumous recognition of a Star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
